SYNOPSIS

ARGUMENTS

RETURNS
Nothing.
FUNCTION
This function copies the global variable backup to map (see
SAMMON-VARIABLES). This backup can be filled using
sammon_backup_map. It is used in sammon_solve to prevent
overshoot when minimizing Sammon's stress measure.
