malloc_unit_value

- allocate a UNIT_VALUE structure from a pool

SYNOPSIS

UNIT_VALUE *malloc_unit_value ()

ARGUMENTS

None.

RETURNS

A pointer to a newly allocated UNIT_VALUE, or NULL in case of allocation failure.

FUNCTION

The UNIT_VALUE structure is taken from a pool of size UNITVAL_STOCK (see STOCK-variables). If all structures in the pool are used, a new pool is allocated using malloc_netlib. The history-field (Hist) is set to NULL.
